For the past month, I took a break from social media because we had a death in the family. My grandpa (my dad’s dad) suddenly and unexpectedly passed away.
My grandma has been having a hard time with his loss so for the past month I was out of town spending time with her.
This loss has taught me that tomorrow isn’t promised so I should take advantage of every moment today. We all know that we can’t avoid death but sometime we get too comfortable and forget the value in “today”. This was definitely a wakeup call for me.
During my break, I celebrated my 13th birthday. Now that I’m “social media legal”, I want to take on a bigger role with my platforms, which also includes writing my own blog posts. This will give me a chance to share more about my personal life and experiences with you all…plus I will get more practice writing. That’s like a win win, right? 😊
